Brilliant experience I attended the gin tasting experience at Judith's shakespeare site in Stratford-upon-Avon. I was amazed with how informative the session was. The welcome drinks were a nice little surprise and the samples tasted were all lovely. The atmosphere was again amazing and you can tell the staff enjoy what they do

Gin tasting I attended the gin tasting session at the Judith site. I was surprised by the welcome drinks on arrival. The whole experience was very informative with a lot of history behind Gin and also the distillery. The 3 samples we were given to try were beautiful and the shop had an amazing selection to purchase. Definitely would recommend to any Gin fans.

Fantastic experience The whole experience was fantastic, peter,simon and dan were all so knowledgeable, and so enthusiastic about what they do , and the products they produce. Would highly recommend to everyone, and will definately be back. Their gins are the best ive tasted. Xx

Gin tour We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Shakespeare distillery on Saturday afternoon. It is run with such enthusiasm and knowledge of their product and some fun info about the history of gin during the tour. This place is well worth the visit and we came away with a bottle of gin after the tasting session

A must visit for gin or rum enthusiasts It was great to visit the Shakespeare Distillery, booked as a gift by family, we absolutely would recommend the tour including tasting for especially any gin or rum enthusiasts. The guides were excellent and really knew their subjects. We found the whole trip so informative regarding gin and rum making but also how important the drinks you mix with them too. We spent around 2 to 2 1/2 hours on the whole experience.

A great way to enjoy pre dinner drinks! A lovely hour spent tasting some of the Shakespeare distilleries gins. A humorous commentator gave us a history of the distillery and some very informative tips on gin and tonic. A great way to enjoy pre dinner drinks and relax. A lovely experience. A Fantastic Experience, With a Few Tips That Might Even Save You Money! What a fantastic experience at Shakespeare Distillery.We learned all about the world of gin and rum through a fabulous presentation from Clare, who brought the history and process of distilling to life, before David beautifully explained the craft of blending different flavours and botanicals to create the wonderful tipples we eventually got to enjoy.Then came the important bit, the tasting! Clare taught us how to properly taste and drink each one to get the maximum pleasure from it, and I certainly came away knowing far more about gin and rum than I did when I arrived.If you are ever anywhere near Stratford-upon-Avon, take some time out and visit. It is entertaining, informative and gives you a fascinating insight into the art of distilling.And if you are sitting in a local Stratford pub afterwards, ask for Shakespeare Gin. You won’t be disappointed.But remember one of the most important lessons from the day, you only need a little mixer. Don’t drown the gin! One bottle of mixer can easily do two, possibly even three gins.Not only does the experience teach you how to enjoy a better gin, apparently it can save you money at the bar too!Fabulous people, fascinating knowledge and some rather lovely gin and rum. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Experience - highly recommend What an experience from start to finish. There wasn't anything to fault. From the explanation of the history of gin through to the classroom and creating our own gin the whole afternoon was fantastic.The 3 hours flew by (of course nothing to do with the amount of gin we were drinking!).The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.Nice touch was that with my gift experience was a 20cl and 50cl bottle but instead, we were offered two 35cls which was lovely.Added bonus were that the cakes we could purchase were gluten free too (and helped to soak up the alcohol).No pressure to purchase items from the shop (but we did!).Looking forward to trying our own gin in a few weeks' time.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this experience.

Fantastic day out Would highly recommend this to anyone. It was so much fun, and we already have plans to come back with friends. The guides were really helpful and knowledgeable and the time just flew by. Can't wait to try our rum once it has matured.

Fabulous experience Fantastic experience, well laid out room, very knowledgeable guide and some great Rums to taste with lovely mixers. We learnt a great deal from our time there. Would thouraghly recommend it.

Excellent experience An excellent experience. All staff were really knowledgeable and obviously loved their job and the subject. It was informative, relaxed and welcoming. Everywhere was clean and you weren’t pushed to buy anything. You left feeling they enjoyed sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm with you. I can’t recommend this enough.

Very enjoyable A small but very enthusiastic company with knowledgeable and friendly staff ready to answer any questions you may have. Really enjoyable and highly recommended.

RumTastic Day 🤪 Our day at the Rum making class began with a warm welcome sorry I forgot names but the young lady was amazing had lovely welcome drink and the atmosphere was very upbeat. The two guys knew their stuff and was so passionate about their rum kept the day interesting and comical. Made our rum and bottled it, inbetween more room tasting 🤪. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the day and felt a little tipsy at the end of the experience, luckily hubby was driving so I had to have his drinks be a shame to waste them! 🤭 so keep up the good work guys, proper hidden gem in a beautiful city 👌🏽

Shakespeare Gin / Rum Tour is a must 😁 We were gifted the tour for Christmas, it was part of a river cruise too, which we'd enjoyed earlier.The tour was very informative and much was learned before we then went to taste 2 gins and a rum, all of which were very smooth, unlike other gins we'd tasted before. We had a really good time, the staff were very good.We bought 3 rums from the shop ☺️
